What Is a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL)?
Forget the name for a second. "Brazilian Butt Lift" is misleading — there is no lifting in the traditional sense, no implants, no cuts on the buttocks. The procedure is more accurately called Gluteal Fat Grafting.

- Step 1 Liposuction. Yes — when performed with ultrasound guidance, subcutaneous-only injection, and in a hospital with proper anaesthesia and ICU backup. The historical deaths almost all came from intramuscular fat injection without imaging. That is not how we operate.
Can I get a BBL if I am skinny?
Often yes — using a Skinny BBL approach. The result is smaller and more subtle, but it is real. We assess donor fat from the abdomen, flanks, inner thighs, and bra-line. If there is genuinely no fat to harvest, we will tell you, and we may discuss a Hybrid BBL or a non-surgical option.
Will my husband notice the difference?

Will I be able to sit at all for three weeks?

What if I gain weight after BBL?
Your buttocks will get bigger along with the rest of your body. This is one of BBL's hidden benefits — the fat is real, your own, and behaves naturally. If you lose weight, your buttocks shrink a little. Most patients are happy with this honesty.
Is BBL a one-time surgery, or do I need touch-ups?
For 90% of patients, it is one surgery. About 5–10% choose a small touch-up at 9–12 months to refine asymmetry or add more volume in a specific area. The original surgery is permanent — touch-ups are optional.
Will pregnancy ruin my BBL result?
It can change it, but not necessarily ruin it. Pregnancy redistributes fat, and weight gain in pregnancy is uneven. Many patients keep most of their results.
